For more than 70 years Olly Wendt, née Sommer’s personality and artistic talent helped to shape the Wendt & Kühn family business. She left her creative imprint on our grand design legacy in her designs for the Marguerite Angels, the Moon Family, a large number of animal figurines and figurines in regional costumes as well as her Richly Painted Angels. A book dedicated to this talented designer has been published to mark the 125th anniversary of her birth this year (product code EB2021). The limited edition of 1,920 copies corresponds to the year in which she started working at Wendt & Kühn. Previously unpublished letters, notes, poems and photos provide an authentic portrait of an exceptional woman, for whom, as she herself put it, Wendt & Kühn became her destiny,
