I used the clock to replace a similar one with a bouncing lady on a spring. The old clock was worn out. I like the quartz movement which eliminates daily winding. The deer stand was broken off when it arrived but it was easy to re-glue. I also had to untangle a chain which got snagged in the battery compartment. The bird has a German accent.
My fiancee loves. She has not gotten the clock bug also. Her little dog Coco loves to try to attack my cuckoos. Her's though doesn't even bother him. I guess you could say that it is Coco approved. She is eagerly awaiting her doggy clock with the moving eyes and tail. Whenever it gets here.
